control panel keeps flashing?

Control panel keeps flashing error 01.....but it is still working constantly after pressing F or G button....and has been for one week now...what should we do???

As it is out of guarantee and we are in Spain, we don't want to call an engineer out yet...

It is HCA394 FKPW

Any ideas????
