NO do not use easy start to bleed a diesel fuel system the engine become addicted to it. Take off the inlet pipe for the fuel filter off and connect a handpriming pump into the system and connect the pump to the filter housing. Then pump fuel into the filter and then prime the fuel into the fuel pump and crack the fuel injector pipes and get someone to crank the engine (for bursts of 15 seconds) as you pump the hand pump until fuel comes out of the injector pipes then stop cranking lock the injector pipe off and crank the engine while pumping the fuel through the engine should start once started allow to run for a minute then turn off disconnect the hand priming pump and reconnect inlet pipe to the fuel filter and start engine again and leave running for a minute to purge all air from the fuel system

remove and refill the new filter with clean diesel, when cranking over open a couple of injector pipes and make sure you are getting diesel up to there,a small amount of easy start may help you also.
