Mend Sony RDR-VX525 VCR DVD Recorder

Tape won't eject?

Sony video cassette recorder/ DVD recorder. RDR-VX525. Played a movie, rewound, but wouldn't eject. The tape is not messed up, it just won't come all the way out. It will lift up into the slot, but stops there and goes back in.
