candy go284 washing machine stops before rinse?

my go284 is doing exactly the same, and so is my mums!!! will wash but stop at rinse stage. the stain vanish button and 90 min lights flash, the lights flash in a pattern of 3 flashes. the flashes indicate fault no 3. according to manufacturer site this fault code means that the water is not draining away properly. However i have checked for blockages etc and still nothing. when i change wash cycle to rinse it rinses spins and drains ok! any help would be greatly appreciated.
