My 51 plate Ford Focus gear lever does not spring back to neutral if moved to the left. It is ok when pushed to the right. Please can someone let me know if this is an easy fix? I too have the speedo issue.
If I were to take this to a garage would cost would I be looking at to resolve both issues?
The problem with the gear lever not springing back is a small (£1ish) return spring at the base of the lever and is easy enough to replace and should take any ford dealer around 1/2 an hour to do.

sounds like a gear lever spring you would prob get charged an hours labour plus parts, whet speedo fault do you have?
