how can I fix my phone?

i have a binatone solas 1520 twin which has been ok since i bought it over 2weeks ago. Now the phone on the main base station is constantly flashing searching and wont charge. What do you suggest?

Unplug the base unit,take the batteries out of the handsets and leave everything off for 30mins or so,then plug it all back together again,it may reset itself,might work,does on some phones, can't do any harm.2 weeks old you can take it back to the shop.
