my 03 c3 electric sunroof has stopped working could it be the motor

could be- but you need to check fuses and if all ok you will need to check for a feed to roof switch and then a feed out to motor also not forgetting to check that motor earth is ok,there may be a relay fitted for sunroof this also will need checking out.
