cookworks dishwasher?

we have a cookworks dishwasher from argos that will not work. when the door is shut and a program selected, power on, all four lights on the facia flash, and a high pitched beep repeats for maybe twenty times then nothing. during this process it sounds as if the machine is draining. any ideas????

My Dishwasher (not a cookworks) does the same thing, periodically, and I've found that it is something to do with the water inlet and the water pressure. I find that if I disconnect the water (releasing the pressure) and simply reconnect again it works. Hope this helps
