airlock on gravity fed heating?

how to best remedy an airlock in a gravity fed heating system. there is a circulator pump on the return pipe so system is under negative pressure, so how do i force out the air, even with the pump and boiler off

Air will rise to the top, Most boiler systems have a bleed valve fitted, also all radiators have bleed valves, bleed the radiators etc.
