zanussi fa1074 cycle not starting?

the washing mashine fills with water and the cycle dose not start....can anyone help? thanks

yes that is about it.....i did get it to start on a cycle. but wont do it again since and filled about half full with water.....thanks

so the machine does start,locks the door and then fills but nothing else from there on???
