Mend Honeywell SL8 G3 Power Cut Sound

Why did my alarm (SL8 G3) go off during power cut, if not set beforehand?

Why did the external alarm on my SL8 G3 intruder alarm sound during a power cut despite not being set prior to the power cut?

And the battery needs replacing.

...... because the battery that you have never replaced since the system was installed has died.

It may be a rechargeable battery but they are not designed to last for ever, 5yrs max, before if fails normal testing.

What did it say on the panel?
Do you mean the external bell went off?
