Mend Hotpoint Mistral Plus FF Freezer Fridge Engineer

left freezer door open?

left freezer door open on my hotpoint mistral plus ff fridge freezer now freezer not getting cold enough it is making all the right noises can i fix or do i need engineer does anyone have any ideas thanks

It has built up ice between the two compartments which restricts the flow of air. Turn fridge off at wall in the evening, leave doors slightly open and leave like that overnight ( at least 12 hours) next morning turn power back on. This will allow the ice to melt.
