beco frost free american fridge freezer?

hi can anyone help my freezer has dropped to about -2 its still cold but hardly the fridge side seems to be ok but i dont think that is working 100% and to top it off the water has stopped working engineer want £100 to come and be nosey then see how thick i am then charge me for what he likes plz help anything i could try before he wins thanks Adam

If he is a general engineer don't bother calling him.Call Beko there fee is less than £100 although be prepared to pay £250 if it turns out to be a gas issue.I would suggest that you total switch the whole thing OFF and leave the doors open for a good 24hrs and try restarting it.This will prove if it is a defrost issue if it starts to work again or if it refuses to bring the temp down a gas/compressor issue.Its the only simple user test you can try without incurring cost
