Mend Peugeot 405 GLX 1600cc Stopped Working Told

how can i fix my speedo?

the speedo on my peugeot 405 glx 1600cc 1994 L reg has stopped working, i'm told that it is electronic, but have no idea how it works or what to check, any ideas please cheers

Peugeot Peugeot 405 GLX 1600cc Vehicles, Cars Stopped Working Told

it may simply be that you need to restart all the electronics in your car. Take off all the connections to your car battery and remove it. Turn on the ignition for about 5 seconds, turn off and replace the battery but leave for about 5-10 mins before turning the engine back on. This does tend to work on older cars, Good luck.
