Mend Evinrude 4hp Starting Fine Carb

evinrude 4hp starting problems?

I have an evinrude 4hp outboard that ran fine then became sluggish.
I have stripped the carb - no blocked jets.
I checked the points
started motor with "Easy start" but cuts out after revving up .. also it runs if I squirt fuel into carb intake
Any suggestions as to problem please?
