My Beko Fridge smells like death how do I get rid of it?

The element behind the fridge is stinking like a decomposing corpse!!! I have cleaned all visable parts and the smell in still very evident!!! Help, What is causing the smell and how do I get rid of it. The fridge is about 1 year old and in v good condition!!
