machine clicks but no water coming in and cycle does not commence?

orange light on but no further action with machine-no water in on any cycle

you dont say what machine it is,first remove inlet pipe and check filter on inlet side for dirt,if that is clean you gonna have to check next in line solenoid for operation.if that still not solve the problem im afraid for dedicated work is needed
