1987 ford cargo brake air leak?

hi there i have a leaking pressure release valve (above the rear axel) its causing the brakes to take ages to pump up. i have read alot of threads on this but knowone is very specivic, if anyone else has had this problem and could give me a detailed description thes would be great, many thanks paul
