Mend Vauxhall Vectra Oil Gasket

Vauxhal vectra w reg2 litre oil leak from switch on front of sump?

Can this be removed from the outside or does the sump have to be removed and the switch taken out. Can a new gasket be fitted or does it require a new unit?

If memory serves the switch is your oil level sensor. If it is held in with a clip you will have to remove the sump to fit a new seal as this sits on the sensor inside the sump. I am sure you will be able to buy just a new seal for it.
