Mend Beko DRCS968 Drum Turn Dryer Belt

Drum won't turn in my tumble dryer and keeps snapping belts?

I have a beko condenser DRCS968 tumble dryer and the belt broke so we replaced it only to find that the drum was still very hard to turn and the belt snapped again, anyone know what would fix this problem??

remove the drum and check the front bearings and felt.felt has a habit of coming off and jamming in the front.this will require a total strip down
