Mend Baxi 24CDI Combi Boiler Hot Water Gas

24cdi combi boiler lpg ?

turn the hot water tap on, the boiler lights up and after 10 sec it makes a noise then the gas goes out no hot water .
the pressure is ok in the system , had a new diverter valve fitted, and been serviced 6 month a go ,

If you leave it running does it keep repeating this sequence.lights 10 seconds goes off light 10 seconds goes off etc?.If so could be a blocked up heat exchanger
