Diplomat single oven ACA3200?

Oven stopped heating up so I replaced the element & now it is heating ok
The buttons & front panel are getting hot when oven is on.
So bridged out the cooling fan & it is working ok
Checked the safety cut of thermostat it was faulty so I have replaced this, cooling fan now comes on to cool buttons & front panel, But after cooker is switched off the fan stays on even after oven is cold I have to switch off from main switch
