Why re the upstairs radiators warm when only the hot water, NOT the heating?
Our boiler provides either hot water, or central heating, or both. Since a new radiator was fitted upstairs, whenever the hot water only is on, the upstairs radiators are hot. The central heating is 'off' on the boiler controls, and the heating thermostat is as low as it will go.
