This is not an answer, but a follow up. Had the Tech come out yesterday that LG recommended, and he said it was my shaft bearings and it would not be cost effective to have fixed. It is a 2 man job and Labor exceeds cost of machine. I paid 750.00 for machine and 200.00 for pedal stool. It makes me sick to have to get rid of almost a thousand dollar set up after only 2 years. It is only me and my husband who live here, we are gone about 5 months of the year, so that washer had NOT been used all that much. Because I did not buy the extended service policy I am out all that money. I still fell LG should have done something, extended service policy or not, that washer should have lasted longer than that. I am DONE with this Korean made product.
