Mend Roca 88351 Toilet Cistern Model

How to refit a roca toilet cistern lid!?

My husband removed the lid off our Roca (model 88351) toilet cistern lid and cannot figure out how to put it back. As he is not even trying anymore I am taking things into my own hands. Any advice please on how to refit the lid?

if its a push button type flush" you feed the silver push button through the hole in the lid, then push the button back down,as if you were flushing it, there should be a big sivler ring,that you insert in to the hole, turn it clockwise over the push button.and when its tight thats what holds the lid down,,, so hold the button down with the lid on , and screw the silver ring into it,,,
