Our son has just set his Thomson freeview box for us in our bedroom. Everything perfect except although we can see BBC1 and BBC2, we cannot see the programmes throughout the day so we cannot record any. In addition, non of the other BBC channels can either be seen or recorded.
Try this: Unplug power, reconnect .... allow guide to load automatically for 1/2 hour. Hope this works for you.
Sometimes overnight software downloads and Sky/ESPN info downloads upset guide info display on certain channels....Murdoch probably does this deliberately .... another reason why this geezer is unfit to have media interests in this country. To reduce this problem select MENU>SET-UP>CUSTOMISE TUTV. Turn Off all TUTV downloads to improve box efficiency ....or if you use these features .... just turn off the Sky/ESPN info download option. This will reduce guide info blockages hopefully.
Anytime guide doesn't show just repeat instruction at top of page.
