How can I fix the luggage cover on my Peugeot 206SW Estate?

I think the proper name for it is a "retractable tonneau cover". It pulls out to cover the contents of the boot from display. When I pulled it out this morning, the whole thing came out of the cartridge. Is there any way of opening the (spring loaded) cartridge and re-fixing the fabric cover?
