Optima 2+?

My Alarm started to develop a fault about 6 months ago where it would activate even when it wasn't set? At the time it showed zone 3. It would usually reset and occasionally activate again. However more often than not it would be ok for a couple of weeks. This continued and i had an alarm company come out and service the system and replace the back up battery in the control panel. They could find no reason or fault as to why it had been activating.

The alarm was ok for a few more weeks and then started doing the same, however I'd reset it and it would be fine again for anything upto a month. Now it is activating and showing zone 6. I was able to input the code and reset it.

However it seems to be getting worse, The system goes off now again without being set, About a month ago it wouldn't reset on the panel. ( The alarm internal as stopped sounding ) However if you let it have a rest until the following day it would reset and work again.

Last night it went off (Not internal) The External sounder only went off after the prescribed 20 mins. The system will not reset now?

Anyone got any idea's, I actually think that the faulls must be linked.
