1993 Yamaha Jog will not stay running?

I cleaned the carbureator changed the air cleaner element and changed the electronic choke. The scooter will start and run for about 1 minute and then stall. It will not start after that. It seems like after the fuel in the fuel bowl is used up it stalls. If I leave it lay until the next day it will start right up and do the same thing.....ML
