Mend Canon PC Printing Cartridge

How can I fix my canon copier PC from printing most of the paper pure black?

replaced the ink cartridge and now all the copies are mostly a black page with small side white and some of the copy shows through.
I do have a couple of screws layiing in the bottom not conneted to anything.

please help
