Mend Canon IP400 Printer Ink Photo

Canon Pixma IP400?

After printing out passport photo's on A6 sheet of photo paper and left un-touched over night black on hair smudged off leaving me looking grey & 90.

The ink cartridges were purchased as original Canon and came in Canon packing, so hopefully not ink cartridge as I've no receipt to return it.


Would it be due to cheap paper my wife bought on spur of moment.
