my thomson freeview box wont record it keeps say no working hard drive,any ?

any ideas on how to fix this....

Turn it off for 5 minutes then on again pressing the on button on n off til the red light stops flashing,then press menu then top button above ok then button below ok button then left button then right button it should now show flashing lights after then press power button on
