How to fix the driver seat on a Fiat Punto 2 mia?

Hi :)
On the driver seat in my fiat punto is a lever which raises and lowers the seat. It works very well except that the back inside corner of the seat does not hold up when the seat is raised, and so I am sat on an angle! Could it be fixed by myself or has something snapped/sheared and the seat needs replacing?
