I have an 08 plate transit got it plugged into the computer and it came back the EGR was needing replaced. Its only been the past few days the van will lose power and blow out big puffs of black smoke. Bought a brand new EGR but am stuck how to fit the thing. Dont really whant to put it into the garage the EGR cos a fair bit. So any ideas how to replace it would be great. Cheers
FWD? two 8mm bolts and two 10mm bolts and electrical connector,can be a bit fiddly getting gaskets and bolts lined up when fitting but not too bad to do,20min job,good luck
