mower starts the cuts out almost immediately why?

does it have a manual fuel pump for start up on the carb? if so when it starts give it a little push just b4 it cuts out and keep doing it for a few minutes it should start sucking the fuel through for it self! if it does not have a pump remove air filter and tilt mower slightly and use a bottle top to pour petrol in carb about half a cap full after a few pulls it will start try to manualy keep it running by injecting small amount of fuel in to the carb! useing a syringe is a good idea its should eventually keep running on its own as long as theres fuel in the tank!!
