Mend Wharfedale L1911W-C DVD No Disc

DVD stopped working?

I have a Wharfedale, 19" TV/DVD combi, model no. L1911W-C, the DVD player has stopped working, when you put a disc in it sounds like it is trying to read it then comes up with 'No disc' on the screen. Can anybody help me please.
