How can I fix Mitsubishi TV WS55511?

I have TV WS55511 and when using the DTV inputs the picture is green with some red and blue highlights. When using the comp-1 input it works fine. The cable guy says the input is bad, is this correct and can it be fixed? Am I not geting the benefit of DTV by using the comp input?
