My transonic 68cm tv from "The Warehouse" also has a RED padlock on the screen at turn on NOTHING I do with the remote brings up a menu ,to enable me to turn off this lock.the book says to press "menu" constantly to bring up a menu then enter the "factory" password 0000 BUT NOTHING happens, help us ALL please...if there is a fix..
I fixed this problem ..Turn ON the tv with the remote ,HOLD DOWN the DISP button for 5 SECONDS the tv will unlock so simple..thanks add an answer YOU got me motivated to fix my problem..vk4ckckeith
