the igniter is working but the main burner will not fire

check gas valve working is it powerd up

Simple check, make sure the gas is on and available (don't just assume it is).
If the gas is available to boiler and you have sparking but no burner, test for power to the gas valve when sparking occurs.

Power = gas valve faulty
No power = suspect relay on pcb.
