how to make vista full screen ?

Hi there,

can anyone help. ive just installed vista ultimate x64 on my sony vaio laptop but its now not showing a full screen. ive gone to control panel and tried adjusting the monitor setting but the resolutions will only go up to 1024 x 768 (32 bit)???????what have i done wrong????please help me before i smash it up....

Re-install the video/graphice driver, should give you all the resolution options. If you haven't got the disc, you can download it from the sony website
