GE1101P CD PLAYER SCROLLS IN BLACK AND WHITE?

HOW DO I RESET DEFAULT ON CD PLAYER SCROLLING TOO FAST TO READ MENU. HAVE UNPLUGGED IT, HAVE HELD PLAY,STOP, PAUSE BUTTONS AT SAME TIME, HAVE TRIED GUESSING(PUSHING SETUP AND THEN RIGHT ARROW KEY THEN
DOWN ARROW KEY AND THEN OK, NOTHING WORKS. I DON'T
HAVE A SYSTEM BUTTON ON REMOTE. IF THERE IS ONE, I CAN'T IDENTIFY IT. IS THERE A SWITCH INSIDE THE CASE?
I BELIEVEIT NEEDS TO GO BACK TO "PAL".
