Mend Indesit WG1030 Spin Speed Noise

how to fit carbon brushes on a indesit wg1030?

I have a Indesit wg1030 it wont reach its spin speed. It makes a grating noise when trying to spin and starts and stops till it reaches the end of the program. I have read various possible solutions, such as drive belt, filter or carbon brushes.
Can anyone help?
