Unexplained symbols on front panel?

I have a one day old BEKO WME7267W Washing machine. It's showing a symbol (lots of little dots, located near the detergent (II) symbol and the pause button comes on. It's like this for every programme. I'm baffled as there is no explanation of this in the manual.
