toshiba ballast board, light engine please help?

I have a #$%# Toshiba 52hm85. I just replaced the bulb but it still won't come on. I turn it on ,redlight comes on, sounds like a fan starts then stops. sounds like the light may try and start but doesn't. green light blinks 9 times and then cycles off and starts over. I don't want to throw money at this tv because of all the problems we are having with them. I would like to stick it up toshiba's a55.
