no fire?

i have a rielo burner on a kerr furnace that has no chimmney just the cold air intake and another pipe with the exchaust pipe vented outside. now for the problem it was working fine i have oil to the nozzle np but no fire from the transformer,the transformer is just the little grey box with the element tips on it for the iqnighter,there is no fire from the transformer to those tips ,i bought a new transformer ,replaced it same thing no fire,,i know there no fire because i crossed the ignighter bars with a screw driver no power didnt spark! what else can it be the white capaciter not working
