My 2yr old Wharfedale TU160DTR won't start, approx 2 seconds after switching it on its message screen displays 'PLS WAIT' for 2 seconds and then that changes to 'FAIL'.
Is it a goner ?
Or is there a way to revive it.

unplug unit for a few minutes, then plug it in whilst holding the power button in.. keep this pressed.. whilst keeping it pressed the unit will power on and say please wait, it will say revert. if you keep holding the power button during its second reboot it will format the hard drive.
