left speaker doesn't work all the time?

I have 2 questions. The first is that my left channel cuts on and off, mostly off. It seems that every 20 seconds it'll work than stop. i'VE tried different speakers and wire. I don't where to turn.

Does the Marantz 26 have the famous blue turner display. Mine doesn't
