advent 7105 keyboard and pad not working?

avent 7105 keyboard and touch pad not woring at all even on boot up can not get into bios or change boot to cd/dvd rom drive. Tried replacing keyboard with one that works,tried usb keyboard and mouse,tried resetting bios nothing
