renault megane coupe sport s redg 1.6 8v?

hi just bought a s redg renault megane coupe sport...the imobilizer worked at first but i had to open the door wi the key,when i went to petrol station and took keys out,i went to press the mobilizer to the eye and it would not work...plz can you help
