Mend Renault Megane Immobilizer

Who do I phone for the immobilizer code? P reg renault megane?

Hi there, I have read the answers on how to put the code in and understand this fully! The only thing is I cant find the code in the hand book and dont know who to phone! Can I phone or do I need to take it somewhere? Id be really grateful for some advice asap as my car is stuck on my drive at the mo!!!

Renault Renault Megane Vehicles, Cars Immobilizer Renault Megane

Hi clare. You need to have it recovered/towed to a Renault dealer or maybe try a mobile mechanic who has engine diagnostic equipment. He/they will plug your ecu into a laptop and reset your ecu/code to recognise the key and your engine should start after reset. Hope this helps?
